Heavenly Father

Thank you for all the gifts you have bestowed upon me, but most especially for my family and dear friends. Life can be difficult and frustrating at times, but families can really make a difference. Though sometimes they seem to be the source of my frustrations, they give me reasons for living, and fill my life with joy.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the patience you have given me. Yet, I pray to you, asking for still more. I pray to you, pleading for the grace and strength to continue parenting to the best of my ability. Try though I might, I cannot do it on my own. I need help and guidance. Parenting is hard work and I'm trying to do it the best I can. So with your loving assistance, please help me to achieve this lofty goal.

Thank you Lord.

I say this in the name of Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Being a parent really is hard. It's so easy with only one baby, but so difficult at the same time. Some days I find myslef filled with such utter rage! It's hard to understand where it comes from. But I know that it's not my daughters fault. Usually I am feeling frustrated with something else, and need to take a step back and just take a deep breath.

Children are humans just like us. They have their own interests and needs, just as we do. It's important to remember to try to put ourselves in their shoes. Most likely, our kids aren't trying to make us angry or test us, they're just learning about the world. By giving them every opportunity to do so, we are teaching they to become better, kinder, and more loving individuals
